LISA GERLITS (she/her) is the author of the middle grade novel, A MANY FEATHERED THING, which won an Oregon Spirit Book Award. She is a poet, muralist, and believer in people. Currently, she directs a nonprofit that builds community with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She lives in Silverton, Oregon where she enjoys gorging on berries and walking behind waterfalls.
