Jeanne Mackin is the award winning author of eight historical novels including Picasso’s Lovers, The Last Collection and The Beautiful American. Her fiction has been translated into eight languages. She is also an award winning journalist and the author of The Cornell Book of Herbs and Edible Flowers and co-editor of The Norton Book of Love. She taught creative writing in the MFA in Creative Writing Program at Goddard College and has given writing workshops nationally. She is a fellow of the American Antiquarian Society, which has supported her historical research.
