David Neiwert

DAVID NEIWERT is a freelance journalist and author based in Seattle. A veteran reporter and editor, he began working for MSNBC.com in 1996 as a writer-producer and remained there until 2000. His work has appeared in The Washington Post, MSNBC.com, Salon.com, the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Intelligence Report, Seattle magazine, and numerous regional publications. His reportage on domestic terrorism for MSNBC won a National Press Club Award for distinguished online journalism. He is also the author and editor of the award-winning weblog Orcinus.
